Visiting some of my upcoming bike shoots at World of Wheels in Chicago and took a few shots of some of the cars as well. Tough to shoot at these kinds of shows but the some of the cars were unbelieveable.
I was in Daytona for 3 days during the start of bike week. Although the weather was cold and rainy for the first 2 days, the last day I was there (Sunday) was beautiful. Despite the weather I was able to shoot 6 bikes (and a pelican). The crowed on Main St. was pretty big for the beginning of the rally. Here are a few quick shots.
This pic goes back a few years when custom builders and bikes would ride Main St. from early evening to late at night. Hundreds of photo opportunities. For some reason, that tradition stopped 5-6 years ago. Arlen Ness was never too good to make an appearance on Main St riding his latest custom.
We try to keep our Shooters Images site fresh and one way we do that is with a new site every couple of years or so. For the last few years we’ve had a site hosted through LiveBooks. Although the sites are nice, they are also a little pricey for what you get and the lack of flexibility. After doing some research and trying out several other providers, I settled on a site by Neon Sky, Inc. The sites are professional looking, offer great flexibility, have an emphasis on large images, and the price (although the same as LiveBooks) includes up to 3 separate sites, each with their own URL. Their email is hosted by a separate provider and it is flawless, even with some reported bugs in the new Apple OS. Check it out: Shooters Images
